1、 Types of spiral sludge Dehydrators

1. Plate and frame sludge dehydrator

In the closed state, the sludge pumped by the high-pressure pump is squeezed by the plate and frame, so that the water in the sludge is discharged through the filter cloth, so as to achieve the purpose of dehydration.

2. Belt sludge dehydrator

The sludge layer is entrained by the upper and lower tensioned filter belts and passes through a series of regularly arranged roller cylinders in an S-shape. The pressing and shear force of the sludge layer is formed by the tension of the filter belt itself to squeeze out the capillary water in the sludge layer, so as to realize sludge dewatering.

3. Centrifugal sludge dehydrator

It is composed of a transfer and a screw conveyor with a hollow rotating shaft. The sludge is sent to the drum by the hollow rotating shaft, and is immediately thrown into the drum cavity under the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation. Due to different specific gravity, solid-liquid separation is formed. Driven by the screw conveyor, the sludge is transported to the cone end of the drum and continuously discharged from the outlet.

2、 Characteristics of spiral sludge dehydrator

1. The body is divided into concentration part and dehydration part, and the materials of concentration part and dehydration part are SS304

2. The equipment shall be able to realize full-automatic operation and equipped with automatic spraying and flushing device. The flushing device is composed of a spray pipe and a spray nozzle, and the spray range should cover the whole dewatering body, and each nozzle can be replaced. The flushing device shall have good tightness.

3. All moving parts shall operate stably without vibration and noise. The rotation speed of the screw shaft is adjustable, and the speed range is 2-3 rpm.

4. The spiral shaft is of inverted conical structure in the dehydration part and shall have the function of air pushing and anti blocking. The shaft core is provided with rotary joints and multiple one-way air outlets, which can blow air in from the shaft core and blow out in time through the air holes, which can not only ensure that the sludge does not stick to the shaft wall to prevent blockage, but also further reduce the moisture content.

5. The traveling ring is an anti blocking special-shaped ring, which shall be flat and smooth, and the anti blocking handle shall be set at the outer edge of the traveling ring, which can not only effectively prevent the sludge from blocking in the screw stack chamber, but also enhance the shear force and propulsion force of the sludge.

6. The body shall be equipped with detachable ring pieces to facilitate rapid repair and observation of the wear of spiral shaft pieces in the case of sludge blockage.

7. The filtrate diversion tank is equipped to realize the filtrate diversion of the concentration section and the dehydration section. The filtrate of the concentration section is collected into the filtrate collection tank, and the filtrate of the dehydration section will automatically return to the flocculation mixing tank after full storage. Carry out reprocessing without or less dosing to improve the solid recovery rate of the dehydrator.

8. The dehydrator shall be equipped with special T-wrench and plug gauge for back pressure plate to accurately adjust the clearance of back pressure plate. Sludge scraping device shall be set at the sludge outlet to ensure the timely discharge of sludge that may harden at the sludge outlet.

9. The driving device shall have overload and overheating protection functions. The protection grade of the motor is IP55, class F insulation, and waterproof setting is adopted for all. The gear of reduction gearbox shall be designed in accordance with ISO or equivalent standards, and the service factor shall not be less than 2.0. The gear shall be carburized with low alloy steel, and the surface hardness shall not be lower than hrc58. All joint surfaces and the seals of input and output shafts shall be free of leakage.
