There are generally three types of stacked screw sludge dehydrators: plate and frame sludge dehydrator, belt type sludge dehydrator and centrifugal sludge dehydrator. In terms of technical requirements, all moving parts should run smoothly, without vibration and noise, so the following is a detailed introduction.

1、 Classification of stacked screw sludge dehydrator

1. Plate and frame sludge dewatering equipment

In the closed state, the sludge pumped by the high-pressure pump is squeezed by the plate and frame, so that the water in the sludge is discharged through the filter cloth, so as to achieve the purpose of dehydration.

2. Belt type sludge dewatering machine

The sludge layer is carried by two tensioned filter belts, which pass through a series of regularly arranged rollers in an S-shape. Depending on the tension of the filter belt, the pressure and shear force of the sludge layer are formed, and the capillary water in the sludge layer is squeezed out, so as to realize sludge dewatering.

3. Centrifugal sludge dehydrator

It is composed of transfer and screw conveyor with hollow shaft. The sludge is sent into the drum by the hollow shaft. Under the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, it is immediately thrown into the drum cavity. Due to the different specific gravity, the solid-liquid separation is formed, and the sludge is transported to the cone end of the drum and continuously discharged from the outlet under the push of the screw conveyor.

2、 Technical requirements of stacked screw sludge dehydrator

1. The body is divided into concentration section and dehydration section. The materials of concentration section and dehydration section are SS304

2. The equipment shall be able to realize full-automatic operation with automatic sprinkling and flushing device. The flushing device is composed of a spray pipe and a spray nozzle, and the spray range should cover the whole dewatering body, and each nozzle can be replaced. The flushing device should have good airtightness.

3. All moving parts should run smoothly without vibration and noise. The rotation speed of the screw shaft is adjustable, and the speed range is 2-3 rpm.

4. The spiral shaft is an inverted cone structure in the dehydration section, which should have the function of gas pushing and anti blocking. The shaft core is equipped with rotary joints and multiple unidirectional air outlets, which can blow air in from the shaft core and blow air out in time through the pores, which can not only ensure that the sludge does not stick to the shaft wall, prevent blockage, but also further reduce the moisture content.

5. The floating ring is a special-shaped anti blocking ring, which should be flat and smooth. The outer edge of the floating ring should be equipped with anti blocking handle, which can not only effectively prevent the sludge from blocking in the screw stacking cavity, but also enhance the shear force and propulsion force of the sludge.

6. The main body should be equipped with detachable ring piece, which is convenient for quick repair and observation of the wear of spiral shaft piece in case of sludge blockage.

7. It is equipped with filtrate diversion tank to realize filtrate diversion of concentration section and dehydration section. The filtrate from the concentration section is collected into the filtrate collection tank, and the filtrate from the dehydration section automatically returns to the flocculation mixing tank after it is full. The solid recovery rate of the dehydrator can be improved by reprocessing without or with little addition.

8. The dehydrator shall be equipped with special T-type wrench and plug gauge for back pressure plate to accurately adjust the clearance of back pressure plate. The sludge outlet shall be equipped with sludge scraping device to ensure the timely discharge of sludge that may harden at the outlet.

9. The driving device shall have overload and overheat protection function. The protection grade of the motor is IP55, F-class insulation, all of which are waterproof. The design of reducer gear shall be in accordance with ISO or equivalent standards, the service factor shall not be less than 2.0, the gear shall be carburized with low alloy steel, and the surface hardness shall not be less than hrc58. All joint surfaces, input and output shaft seals shall be free of leakage.
